2006_onlinedrawLifehacker led me to this  interesting site that lets you draw  all manner of shapes  online and save the results as a  jpeg or other file.  They have a focus on  flowcharts but show examples of other free-flow designs.

Funny how some things come full circle.  The newspaper industry has lost a huge slice of their bread-and-butter classified advertising dollars to online ads.  Now google is going to start offering its Adwords adversters the option to bid on newspaper ad space.

When I heard about this one the radio this morning the report suggested that google had run out of online ad space and was resorting to print ads to satisfy its customers.  It was early in the morning but this still didn’t make sense to me.  How could they run out of space?  Do I really need to step up and offer them MORE space on some of my own sites?

Couldn’t find a substantiation of the radio report- here’s what Motley Food has to say: http://www.fool.com/News/mft/2006/mft06110644.htm.  They had a good analysis of the potential that this program could bring to all involved.
