Daylight savings and your home computer

Daylight savings begins three weeks earlier than usual this year and will end one week later than usual. On March 11 most of us in the U.S. will move our clocks forward one hour.

This is being billed as a mini-Y2K by some who fear that the sky will fall because our computers don’t know about these recent changes. Not just computers but even more mundane products like vital alarm clocks and coffee makers might be an hour off.
