Take a few minutes and listen to the last speech given by Dr. King.  His “Mountaintop” speech took place the night before his death.  Link here. 

In 2006, construction began on the King Memorial, located on the National Mall in Washington, DC.  Click here for a virtual tour of the memorial.

The National Civil Rights Museum is built in and around the Lorraine Motel where Dr. King was assasinated on April 4, 1968.  Exhibits chronicle the civil rights movement in America.
